Java 2 Micro Edition devices implement a profile. The most commonly used is the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) which is aimed at mobile devices, such as mobile phones, and the Personal Profile aimed at consumer products and embedded devices like set-top boxes and PDAs.This Hands-On training course provides delegates with intensive practical tuition using Sun's J2ME. The topics covered will focus on the tools and environments which exist to help develop Java applications that run on mobile and wireless devices, and also Embedded Java (eg ATMs, washing machines and televisions).
